This partnership started with a father believing in his son. Hazen brought the idea of a wood drying service to his father, Don, after visiting a friend who runs a successful kiln business in the mountains.
Don has run a successful Masonry company for over 45 years. Hazen and Don have worked together in the masonry company for over 20 years.
In addition to masonry, Hazen has been a traditional green wood carver since 2015. He specialized in hand carved wooden spoons, turned bowls and traditional spring pole lathe creations. He has been an instructor at the John C Campbell Folk school and was a demonstrator for the NC State fair for several years.
